What customers say?

“ Tasty Bak Kut Teh with free soup refills. The staff keeps refilling our soup without having to ask for it which is great. Prices are reasonable. ”

“ I’ve been coming to this Bak Kut Teh spot in the CBD area for years, and it’s consistently one of the best! The pork ribs are super tender, and the side dishes are always flavorful. Despite visiting during the weekday lunch rush, there were still several large tables available, so seating wasn’t an issue. The service here is excellent – just raise your hand, and they’re at your table almost immediately. The soup is deliciously peppery, with unlimited refills. Fair warning, the spice level might have you breaking a sweat, but the place is well-ventilated and comfortable. Prices are on the higher side, but that’s typical for popular BKT spots. Overall, this place easily ranks in my top 3 Bak Kut Teh franchises in Singapore! ”

“ Bat Kut Teh offers a delightful dining experience with some standout dishes that make it worth a visit, though the price might give you pause. The soup is a highlight, bursting with rich, aromatic flavors that showcase the care put into its preparation. The pork rib is impressively tender, practically melting in your mouth, striking a perfect balance of texture and taste. The you tiao (fried dough sticks) is perfectly toasted, adding a satisfying crunch that complements the soup beautifully. The pork trotter is another winner—soft, succulent, and well-balanced, avoiding being overly lean or fatty, which makes it a crowd-pleaser. However, the price feels a bit steep for the portion sizes, which might leave budget-conscious diners hesitant. Overall, Bat Kut Teh delivers on flavor and quality, making it a great spot for a comforting meal if you’re willing to splurge a little. ”

“ the service was.. meh. told them that we wanted mineced garlic several times and told several people, took 3 people and 3 reminders to get one small saucer of minced garlic. only good thing is their peppery soup and they'd refill IF they see your bowl is dry. i ordered the fatty one and it was fatty. overall it was okok, nothing special to travel all the way to if youre far, if youre closeby then sure, their seafood ball was good too. ”

“ I had a wonderful experience at Outram Bak Kut Teh! Not only was the food excellent, especially the incredibly fresh and flavorful Fish Slice Soup with huge portion for a Medium, but the customer service was genuinely pleasant and attentive. They also kindly accommodated my bicycle, letting me park it right beside my table so I could keep an eye on it. A truly customer-focused place that I highly recommend! ”

“ Awesome peppery bakuteh in an unassuming place. Service is quick and attentive. Unlimited refills of the soup! Pork ribs fall off the bone, absolutely beautiful. Definitely get the youtiao to dip and soak up the soup too. ”

“ Located on the ground floor of the building. Supposedly frequent by many celebrities, based on the photos on the wall. The prices had increased over the years, still within the affordable range. The menu has expanded to serve fish meat soup and also to seafood ball. The must order item is the pork loin soup, the meat has always been very tender and flavourful. You can’t get a better taste of pork lean meat else where. The soup base is very pepperish, you must like pepper and stand the strong spicy feeling from the pepper. The service is very subjective. Sometimes, the service is very prompt and attentive. I also experienced slow and indifferent service from the staff as well. Overall dinning experience was still good. Simply love their pork loin soup dish- the meat is really good. ”

“ It’s a none aircondituined restaurant. Limited drink options but you can buy from nearby shops. It’s the white type of bak kut teh with heavy pepper. But the taste is great. . Meat is soft and awesome taste, comparable to those highly promoted restaurants. Not many people can find this place as it is along Keppel road and not so near to MRT ”
